What We Believe
We are part of The Brethren Church of Ashland, Ohio. You can find a full statement of faith here, along with our beliefs on current social issues.
Our Leadership
Pastor Robert Vance leads our congregation through preaching, teaching, and prayer. His heart for God and people shines through everything he does. He has served as a minister for 23 years and came to First Brethren Church in November 2024. Pastor Rob and his wife Tracy have four children and two grandchildren.
Our church is also led by a board of members who fill a variety of roles based on the spiritual gifts and skills God has given them, along with several individuals who lead various classes and ministries.
Community Engagement
We love to serve those in our community! We host Bingo games at The Tipton Place, collect cereal for United with Love, go Christmas caroling, and make quilts to give away. Plus, each winter, we host a craft fair in our fellowship hall.
