Halloween used to be an evil holiday. The Christians created All Saints Day on November 1st to combat this concept.

2 Timothy 1:7–God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear.

The Lord wants us to have a sound mind.

What are we supposed to fear as believers? Success without God.

Give credit to God for your success.

Nimrod was very successful in Genesis 10, but didn’t give God any credit.

You are dishonoring God when you look to yourself as the reason for what you are capable of and for what you have.

Psalm 139–God knows our thoughts.

Romans 5:6–Can you take credit for your salvation? No.

Romans 12:6-8–God gives us the gifts we have; they do not come from ourselves.

Revelation 4:10-11–They laid their crowns at Jesus’s feet.
