Galatians 5:1

Other people would come in and teach a false gospel. They taught things that caused them not to be free.

Some taught you had to follow the law of Moses to be saved. (Not true.)

It caused a yoke of slavery.

Know you are forgiven. Walk with Him daily. But know that Jesus is the one who does the saving.

When Jesus comes into your life, He washes all your sin away, and you are free.

You can be free.

Some people get mad about your freedom.

Acts 5:29–Must obey God rather than man.

Acts 12:1-9–James was killed and Peter imprisoned. But the church prayed for him and an angel rescued him.

Peter was sleeping in prison because he had freedom in Jesus. He wasn’t worried. In fact, he was sleeping so hard, the angel had to slap him to wake him up.

He was spiritually free, even though he was physically imprisoned.

Are you spiritually free?

Show it. Be joyful.

Let the countenance of Christ shine on your face.
