Why Is Christian Fellowship So Hard?

Sunday, July 19, 2026 | Pastor Rob Vance

Acts 2:42

1939–The last divorce in the Brethren Church.

Christian fellowship can be very difficult.

We have varying views and can be stubborn toward different options.

We tend to be independent people but are called to love each other.

Be devoted to the fellowship, love, and care for one another.

In Acts, they see great things because of their unity.

1 John 1:3–We fellowship with each other and the Lord.

Seek closeness with the Lord.

God desires a close relationship with us, but He also knows that we need each other for support. We were designed with connection in mind.

Acts 12:5–Peter was in prison, but the church prayed earnestly for him.

We need each other.

Be dependent on God and others; avoid independence.

It’s okay to not have all the answers in life.
