2 Corinthians 5:16-21

Last week: Only God can change the human heart.

Remember who you are and Whose you are.

2 Corinthians 5:20–God wants sinners reconciled to Himself. We’re then called to share the Gospel with others.

An ambassador is not a king or government, but they are a representative of the king or government. They have full power and authority to act on their behalf.

Do you see yourself as an ambassador for Christ?

God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ.

The human ambassador offers the hand of God to those who don’t know Him.

Sometimes we think we’re nobody. But it’s not true.

Are you afraid of being an ambassador for Christ?

We are beggars telling other beggars where the bread is.

2 Corinthians 5:21–Jesus died for our sin.

Ambassadors aren’t always treated well.

Why does God call us to be ambassadors? We might get hurt. We might be afraid.

Overcome the fear you have and call upon the Lord.

Who does God want me to share the Gospel with? How does He want me to share it?

Ask God to give you wisdom and to take away your fear.

Ezekiel 22:30–God is calling us to stand in the gap for souls who need to be saved.
