What We Can Learn From Angels (Pt 5)

2 Kings 6:8-17

We might think we’re losing in our Christian walks. It feels like we’re fighting all by ourselves.

Angels teach us we are not alone in the spiritual battle.

Sometimes you feel alone, but you’re not.

With the eyes of faith, see that you are not alone.

The king wants to stop Elisha and sends soldiers after him. Elisha’s servant gets freaked out when he sees them.

Elisha is able to see the angels on their side, and asks God to reveal them to his servant. And God does.

You’ve got the backing of heaven on your side. The battle is ours.

We have the Holy Spirit living in us. You are not alone.

You also have brothers and sisters in Christ you can turn to. They can pray for you and support you.

The feeling of being alone is a lie from the enemy.

God can prepare His heavenly army to come down and help us if we need it. They can come to our defense.

“With you and God, that’s a majority.” (quote from movie)

We also have the Word of God.

Where do our bad attitudes come from? Usually when we believe something that’s not true.

People who feel like they’re alone try to fight their battles alone instead of yielding to God.

Angels remind us that God cares for us. He’s got our back. We’re never alone. God is with us. His plans cannot be stopped.
