What We Can Learn From Angels (Pt 2)

Hebrews 1:13-14

Jesus came to die for us because our good isn’t enough to overcome our bad; once we sin, we are separated from God and need rescued.

Greeks believed that God was unknowable, but lower beings could be known. This led to the practice of worshiping angels.

Culture tries to influence the church.

It is easy to believe lies of this world and get wrapped up in society.

God uses angels to minister to those who will inherit salvation; they are not to be worshiped.

If you ever have a bad situation befall you, think about Jesus on the cross. He did not deserve any of the pain He endured.

God helps us get through our tough circumstances.

Instances where angels offered support:

– Matthew 4:11 – The devil left Jesus and angels came to attend Him.

– Acts 5:19 – An angel opened the jail.

– Acts 12 – An angel helped Peter escape.

Angels obey God’s command.

God is trying to create a group of people who operate as a body with a purpose of ministry.
