It might not always be easy to follow God, because He calls us to a higher standard. Yet He offers us hope, grace, and assurance as His followers.

Exodus 4:21-26–God considers killing Moses.

Genesis 17:10-11–Circumcision is a sign of the covenant.

Moses married a non-Israelite who did not follow circumcision laws.

When Zipporah (his wife) realizes that Moses’s life is in danger, she circumcised her son.

To him who is given much, much will be required.

Life can actually be harder when you give your life to Jesus, but there is hope and assurance.
