Are Christians to be hermits and separate themselves from everyone? What do God-honoring relationships look like? Join us as we explore why personal connection is so important for God’s people.
1 John 4:7-21
To live a life well-lived, we need relationships.
We need each other.
A problem society faces is a lack of quality face-to-face relationships.
Sometimes we have trouble loving others, but that doesn’t mean we are not saved. It means we don’t know God intimately.
We don’t always like others, but we are directed to love them.
We are close to God if we are loving and the opposite is also true.
Exodus 33–If we see all of God’s glory, we will die.
Jesus gave us the ability to see God (human form).
We need people to give us good examples in life.
Find someone who is older in the Lord than you and ask for advice; watch their example.
We also need to be good examples for others.
Christianity is all about relationships.
