Hard, But Worth It

Being a godly husband and father is hard, but it’s well worth it. Let’s explore some of the pitfalls you might encounter.

Romans 7:14-20

God doesn’t call the equipped; He equips the called.

If there is something keeping you from being a godly father, nip it in the bud.

The sinful nature is a pitfall of fatherhood; it pulls you away from God.

We do what we don’t want to do and don’t do what we want to do.

We all deal with sin differently but can lean on other church members to build us up.

Fathers tend to want their needs met and can be selfish.

Deuteronomy 8:7-11–Good things in the land.

When our needs are met completely, we tend to forget God.

The battle is in YOU.

A godly man is not a perfect man but will get on his knees and continue to fight.

Ephesians 5:33–Love your wife as you love yourself.

Ephesians 6:10-11

Another pitfall is Satan and his demons. The devil is a schemer.

God has a plan, and Satan does, too.

If you’re living in the power of God, you never run out.

The devil wants to destroy a man any way he can. He manipulates and tricks you.

Ephesians 6:12–The battle belongs to the Lord.
