Who–or what–do you go to for guidance and direction? What do you do when it seems like God isn’t answering? Scripture tells us to only seek God for guidance, and that we can trust His heart for us.
1 Samuel 28:3-20
We need to trust that He hears us, even if we don’t have all the answers.
Deuteronomy 29:29–The secret things belong to the Lord, but we are responsible for what He has revealed.
I would rather stay close to God and know nothing than be far from Him and know everything.
Saul didn’t know where to turn, so he turned to witchcraft; He committed a grave hypocrisy.
We don’t go to the stars for answers; rather, we turn to the One who made the stars.
Our culture has backslid from biblical values in many ways.
It is tempting to seek answers from the spiritual realm; God wants us to turn to Him instead and trust both His answers and His non-answers.
No one has ever brought a human spirit back from the dead. They are either tricksters or connect to the occult and conjuring demons.
Samuel appeared in verse 14 because God sent him as a final conviction to Saul.
1 Corinthians 4:2–The one in charge must prove themselves faithful.
Saul went to heaven despite his backsliding, but he did go home early.
1 Samuel 10:10–Saul prophesied.
1 Samuel 11:6–The Spirit of God came upon him.
Be thankful for the knowledge you do have.
