What does it mean that God is the source of our lives? How does that impact the way we live and follow Him?

1 Samuel 7

Sin leads to more sin.

God removes His hand sometimes when we sin so we can feel the full weight, which is actually a grace.

When there is discipline, there is repentance. Repentance brings deliverance.

God disciplines those He loves.

Knowing you’re in bondage is a step toward repentance.

The devil would love it if you would dedicate only half of yourself to the Lord, but God wants 100%.

Will God put up with you if you are on the fence or only halfway devoted to the Lord? No.

James 1:8–double-minded person, unstable in all they do.

James 4:8–jump in with both feet with good, be devoted.

We are imperfect with our devotion but need to keep seeking our perfect Savior.
