What does God want from us? To love Him with everything we have and to follow Him in obedience. Then we will experience His blessings and the abundant life that only He can give.
Deuteronomy 6:1-9
Have you declared your commitment to Jesus Christ?
If you are going to love your God, there are blessings that accompany that.
The Israelites finally gave up other gods after returning from 70 years exiled in Babylon.
We come to church to hear from Him.
Don’t be afraid to declare your faith.
Shema means “listen!”
God loves us and just asks that we love Him back.
Our God is the only god who asks for love.
We give Jesus part of our lives, but we don’t give Him all of our lives.
Jesus doesn’t want just part of you; He wants to be at the center of everything.
We don’t partially mow the grass or only bake half a pie, so don’t only half devote yourself to God.
Love for God is worthy of repeating.
Talk to your children about your faith.
Be a Christian every day of the week.
Let Jesus invade your thoughts.
Talk about the Lord as you go through your day.
Matthew 23:5–Worship Him openly but not for show; evaluate your heart.
The only thing you bring to your salvation is your sin. Shouldn’t we love Him in return?
If Jesus is your Savior, you have a story to tell.
