Psalm 24:1
We often feel guilty for our lack of gratitude for what we have. Yet guilt is not enough. It should lead us to an attitude and lifestyle of thankfulness to God.
God is worthy of our continual praise!
We are not masters of our own lives.
Psalm 24:1–Everything and everyone on the earth is the Lord’s.
We tend to think that we provide for ourselves, but this is not true.
Ezekiel 16:19–Don’t squander God’s gifts.
1 Timothy 6:17–Don’t put your hope in wealth; trust in God, who provides for our pleasure.
Psalm 127:3–Children are a gift from God.
1 Corinthians 10:16–Never forget the blood of Jesus. He made a way for us.
Ephesians 2:13–We are brought near through the blood of Christ.
1 Peter 1:18-19–God paid a ransom for you.
Ephesians 2:8–You are saved through the gift of grace.
The most miserable people are Christians who are not certain of their salvation and are working hard to earn it. (But you can’t earn it. You have to receive it as a gift.)
When you work for the Lord, it doesn’t feel like work.
Everything we have is from Him, even the difficult people.
