Hebrews 10:25

Jesus ordained the church.

Luke 4:16–Jesus regularly attended the church/synagogues.

Churches started in tents, then the temple, then synagogues.

Attending church regularly is very important.

When we separate ourselves out, we begin to dwindle, similar to a lone coal.

We assemble on three accounts:

(1) On God’s account–He deserves our undivided praise (Colossians 1:16).

(2) On the church’s account–We work together (1 Corinthians 12:12-31).

(3) On our own account–We need knowledge and application.

Do these things:

1 Thessalonians 5:6–Stay alert and utilize self-control.

Hebrews 6:9-11–Keep working hard and love others.

Hebrews 10:35–Stay confident.

1 Timothy 6:12–Fight the good fight of faith.

Revelation 2:10–Remain faithful.

Have the right kind of heart and everything else will follow.
