Hebrews 10:24

Faith, hope, and love–the first three “let us” phrases.

There is more to the church than quick acts.

We have to build relationships with others and participate in each others’ lives, no excuses.

Consider=placing the mind down on something, to contemplate.

Take notice of people in the church. Let your mind be occupied with each other.

It’s a give and take; we help each other.

The whole body is built up in this way.

Do not allow church to become a social club.

Galatians 5:13–Use your freedom to serve one another in love.

Galatians 6:2–Carry each other’s burdens.

Love takes work; be alert to people’s needs.

We should imitate Christ.

Love is only possible in community.

Christ gave up His life for us; we should model this love back to each other.

Hebrews 6:10-11–God does not forget the kindness you show to others.

Matthew 5:14-16–Let your good deeds shine.

Acts 9:36–Tabitha was remembered for her kind acts.

Ephesians 2:10–We were created to do good things.

Titus 2:7, 3:8, 3:14–Be an example by doing good works.

To know what to do and not do it is sin.
