Romans 8:1-4

The law gives us the power to know what to do, but it does not give us power to do it or keep it.

Romans 7:18–Nothing good lives in me.

We cannot obey the 10 commandments by our own power; we need the Holy Spirit.

Jesus was human but sinless because he was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

Sin dominated our lives before; Jesus broke the power of sin.

2 Corinthians 5:21–Jesus makes us right with God.

We are empowered to obedience.

We must be consciously aware of our weakness.

There are many opportunities to lead us astray from Christ.

It’s a daily choice; we must acknowledge our need of Him.

The Holy Spirit is the dominant force in our lives.
