The Hope of Easter

Sunday, March 31, 2024 | Gus Hacker

Mark 16:1-7

The women went to the tomb but had no one to roll the stone away from them. But God had done it for them!

Who do we rely on when we face obstacles? God!

There is victory over death, the grave, the tomb.

The disciples did not remember what Jesus had said until after He rose.

Fear robs us of His promises.

He will never abandon you.

Never forget His promises, His presence, and His power.

What happened on Friday was devastating; what happened on Sunday was triumph.

Death was defeated!

We never have to walk this world alone.

God gives us rest.

There is hope in every situation; it was taken care of at the tomb.

When you die, the grave has no power over you.

You can anticipate a future glory in heaven.

When the power of the resurrection fills our hearts, our whole life changes.
