Joshua 1:9

In light of the new year, remember what God said many, many years ago to Joshua.

This took place after Moses died.

Genesis 15:18-21 — God’s promises to Abraham.

Joshua had to face a huge challenge.

We face much ahead, but what does God say about that?

Deuteronomy 1:21 — Fear not, neither be discouraged.

Matthew 1:23 — God is with us.

Matthew 28:20 — I am with you always.

Hebrews 13:5-6 — I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.

Psalm 23:4 — Thou art with me.

Deuteronomy 31:6 — Be strong and of good courage.

Psalm 46:1-3 — God is our refuge and our strength.

Psalm 55:22 — He will sustain you.

Psalm 91:1-2 — He is my refuge.

We have promise after promise of where to go when we face adversity.

Romans 8:28 — All things work together for good.

We can praise God through it all.

John 14:27 — Peace I leave you; let not your heart be troubled.
