Genesis 19:4-8

Signs of worldliness:

1. Intimacy with God slips.

2. Generosity begins to wane.

3. Morals become compromised.

Pressure can be a difficult thing to manage, especially in today’s youth.

Lot wanted to be godly only when it was convenient.

Do we push our kids into friendship with the world? We want them to be successful on earth, but at what cost?

Genesis 19:9–We lack spiritual influence when we focus on the world.

2 Peter 2:7-9–God rescued Lot.

We are picking up words from the world.

We are dressing inappropriately.

We are watching vulgar movies.

Kids are playing violent video games.

We should look differently; it should be obvious.

Matthew 5:13–Salt loses its saltiness when it is mixed with something else. We lose our power when we mix with the world.
