Isaiah 12:2-4 (NIV):
“Surely God is my salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense;
he has become my salvation.”
With joy you will draw water
from the wells of salvation.
In that day you will say:
Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.
Ephesians 2:10 – We were saved in the past.
1 Corinthians 1:18 – We are being saved in the present.
Romans 13:11 – We will be saved in the future.
If you take away your salvation focus, your life will crumble.
In today’s world, how do Christians stay afloat?
Psalm 103:1-5
Challenge this week: write down all the benefits of your salvation.
Exalt Him in your prayer life – spend time in prayer focused on praise.
Deuteronomy 8:10-20 – Don’t forget God.
2 Chronicles 32:24-26 – Pride in ourselves.
“Write our complaints in the marble.”
Benefits of our salvation from Psalm 103:1-5:
(1) He forgives all our sins.
(2) He heals all our diseases.
(3) He redeems us from the pit (Psalm 16:9-11; Psalm 49:7-15).
(4) He crowns us with love and compassion.
(5) He satisfies us with good things.
(6) He renews us.
